About

I’m an editor, which means my job is to take good (or bad) writing and make it great. Really great. And I love it.

Until the 7th grade, I spent every afternoon after school at my town library where my grandmother worked as a librarian. To this day, I feel the most at home surrounded by books.

Gardening is a total joy for me, particularly growing things I can eat. Give it a try. It’s magical.

I collect antique books. My oldest one is an 1882 printing of “The Pilgrim’s Progress” by John Bunyan. My favorite is a 1939 copy of “The First 49 Stories” by Ernest Hemingway.

Zombies fascinate me. In an effort to start running, I downloaded a “Couch To 5K” app (C25K) that’s got a zombie narrative. It’s very effective. Also, I would die very quickly in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

I have two rescue dogs. One is the best dog in the world. The other is a nightmare. I figure this is both a reward and punishment for past lives.
